Casement windows in sustainably sourced timber

Most of the casement windows we make are fabricated in the acetylated softwood timber 'Accoya'. This is a highly sustainable wood that also offers improved thermal properties and a 50 year anti-rot guarantee.

We can also make casement windows out of grade A softwood if required. The softwood we use is also sustainably sourced and carries a 10 year guarantee.

Bespoke window colours available - durable paint finish as standard

Our windows come fully finished in a factory-applied Sikkens Rubbol micro-porous (acrylic-based) system. The standard paint finishes are white gloss and white satin. We can also offer a wide range of custom colours on request.

Thanks for the work done! The installer was great, and we are really pleased with the new casement window.

High performance double glazing

We install 4/16/4 softcoat / low iron - argon gas filled units in all new double glazed windows. This type of double glazing provides the required level of heat retention and performance to comply with Building Regulations as set out in Building Control Document Part L.

Toughened glass for peace of mind and added security

All lower casement windows are fitted with toughened safety glass as standard. Glass fitted in all critical locations (as set out in the Building Control Document K) is also toughened.

We offer a wide range of glass options

Casement windows can be fitted with a range of glass options including obscured glass, decorative glass and acoustic glass. Acoustic glass can be particularly valuable in areas where traffic noise is higher than normal - though there are certain considerations that need to be taken into account when using acoustic glass. Our team would be happy to run through this with you in person when they visit as this is specific to each individual property.

Draught-proof casement windows

All new casement windows (if supplied with frame) have a draught excluder machined directly into the frame itself. The seals used are AquaMac 21 and AquaMac 63 which are hard-wearing and cleanable. They protect your home from draughts by effectively sealing the gap between the opening window and the frame.

Available service options

We'll discuss the options available with you in detail when we visit as they can be very specific to the type of property, age and state of the windows. There may also be restrictions on the options available due to the conservation and listing status of your property. However the full service options available are as follows:

Replacement casement openers (into an original frame)   The old openers will be removed and replaced with new bespoke replacements. Draught excluders will be fitted into the old frames where possible (some restrictions may apply) and the old framework will be re-decorated.

Full replacement of the casement window and frame.
